CHILDREN’S CENTER AT CLARKSVILLE BAPTIST

Clarksville Baptist Church is excited to announce that we will be opening a new Children’s Center in September of 2009. The Children’s Center will have providing a Christ-centered education for children ages 2-6
as its mission. The opening date coincide with the opening date of schools in the county.

The program will be open to children who have reached the appropriate age by September 30, regardless of sex, race, color, creed, or national origin. Unfortunately, the Children’s Center is not equipped to handle children with emotional or learning disabilities.

The center will offer year-round, all-day preschool program, with hours from 7:30-6:00 Monday through Friday. Children will be divided into two groups-ages 2 and 3 will make up the younger group; ages 4, 5 and 6 will comprise second group. The preschool will be staffed by a certified teacher, and instruction will be carried on according to the Virginia Standards of Learning. Two snacks will be provided by the center each day, but students will be required to bring their own lunches.

The program strives to instill Christian character, values, and beliefs, and to inspire children enrolled there to explore, create, and develop to their full individual potential. The goals are to create a love for Jesus, in addition to a love for learning, while guiding growth within structure, and to provide positive role models that teach children the fundamental concepts of this diverse world God created.
